Day 1-3 | Arrival in Stockholm, Quest Kickoff & City Exploration: Upon arrival, students are introduced to the quest theme and divided into teams. Each team receives a quest journal outlining their challenges. They explore Stockholm City, completing tasks related to innovation and sustainability at landmarks like Gamla Stan, the Royal Castle, Skeppsholmen and the modern City. | Stockholm |

Day 4 | Travel to the Arctic Circle: immersing themselves in Sweden’s wilderness and bright nights with midnight sun. Along the way, they engage in discussions about environmental conservation and wilderness preservation. Settle in, welcome and lecture in history and geography for the Arctic Circle. | Arctic Circle | Cabin (2 each) |
Day 5 | The Arctic Survival Challenge: Upon arrival in the place, teams undergoing the Swedish Wilderness Survival Skills Workshop face an Arctic survival challenge, testing their wilderness survival skills and knowledge of sustainable outdoor camping practices. They learn essential skills such as building shelters, starting fires without matches, cooking food and navigating in the wilderness. Culinary Exploration: Teams embark on a culinary exploration, participating in a cooking class where they learn to prepare traditional Swedish dishes using locally sourced, sustainable ingredients. Day 6 | Visit to Rovaniemi – a magical gateway to the Arctic! Today, we explore the world-class Arctic Science Center Articum and the enchanting Santa Claus Village. Test your knowledge of Arctic trivia, try your hand at simulated polar expeditions, and learn about the cutting-edge research being conducted in the region. | Rovaniemi | Cabin (2 each) |
Day 7 | Fishing Expedition: Teams venture into the wilderness for a fishing expedition, learning about sustainable fishing practices and the importance of preserving aquatic ecosystems.
Moose Tracking Quest: Teams embark on a moose tracking quest, exploring the forests of the Arctic Circle in search of these majestic creatures. Along the way, they learn about wildlife conservation efforts and the importance of maintaining biodiversity and forestry production in Sweden’s wilderness. | Arctic Circle | Cabin (2 each) |
Day 8-9 | Embark on an overnight expedition in the wilderness, cooking their food, navigating in nature and experiencing river rafting. Staying overnight in a tent/shelter or cabin and returning the next day to the base camp for traditional wood-fired Sauna bathing. | Arctic Circle | Cabin or tent (2-4 each) |
Day 10 | Conclusion & Reflection: Teams gather for a final quest conclusion and reflection session. They present their quest journals, sharing insights gained, challenges to overcome, and ideas for future sustainability initiatives.
